We are a budding ecovillage in the highlands of Mexico.
We need: Kitchen manager, yoga instructor, massage therapist, ecological building instructor, domestic help, and teachers of Spanish and English.
Our regular volunteers pay a fee to work here, but for these positions we can make other arrangements. We are also open to new residents with compatible values.

After years of work, this forest serves as a retreat space for artists, performers, writers, and other creative and friendly people. It is called the "Bosque Village". Bosque means forest in Spanish.

This place is becoming an ongoing small festival as well as a growing community.

We have a constant stream of volunteers and amazing visitors! Some people come through when they are between jobs, traveling, or to live here for a time and telecommute. Some of our visitors are visiting many communities looking for one to live in.

This past weekend, I did bodywork at Shakori Hills Grassroots Festival in Silk Hope, North Carolina. Its in the "triangle" area, near Chapel Hill & Greensboro. I received a free ticket & parking pass in exchange for working a minimum for 4 hours a day for 3 days & giving a 25% cut of my earnings to Shakori. They had a beautiful space for us to be, nestled in the trees but next to main traffic areas so we had visibility. They provided 2 tents, one was first come, first server to do work in & the other was for info. Other therapists brought their own tents. The music & people were wonderful, camping was fun, great food, a focus on sustainability & eco friendliness. Overall a great time.

This festival happens twice a year, spring & fall. I would recommend it and look forward to going next year!

AyurJyothi massage is a special kind of massage or healing method based on ayurveda and yoga. This method is a powerful way to give an experience to the people who are tired and depressed. It is also highly therapeutic for people who are suffering from muscular pain, insomnia, helps to come out from emotional imbalances etc, if the healer is really serious and devoted to his profession can help his/her clients to feel the deep silence and peace inside themselves. It is a powerful method to come back to the self, which help to have a peaceful life.

This massage helps to balance the vita (air) pita (fire) kappa (water) elements in the human body. According to ayurveda balance of three elements is the result of good health.

It also helps to generate more pranas the life force in our body and mind, helps to promote strong immunity and spiritual awakenings. It needs an open mind with trust, more sessions and change of life style also necessary too. This method often helps people to change their life. That is why this massage is called AyurJyothi massage: ayur means life, Jyothi means light. It is the light of life. This method helps us to have a positive transformation in our life.
Where do I go from here? I don't know the going rate for such things. Do i ask how many people and charge per massage? If so, How much for say 7 people? it's table work, but I'm guessing similar to back stage where I might give the same person a few mini sessions.
Or do I give a flat rate for my time?
Dana Holm, a Healing Arts student, died of an asthma attack at the age of 42. She was found with her inhaler in one hand and her medication in the other. Yet it took only seconds for this disease to take a young and vibrant life.

This event is planned for the Friday after Thanksgiving. While folks are holiday shoppin, for a minimal donation they can receive a bit of relaxation from professional therapists.
Looking for those familiar with the fest, and Sonoma family folks.
There may also be a need for ambiance decorators, strict fire restrictions though...

Once again, the Harmony Festival (formerly known and the Health and
Harmony Fair) will be having their annual Saturday night Techno-Tribal
dance, with performers such as The Mutaytor, DJ Lorin, Karsh Kale,
Dhamaal Soundsystem, and so much more. And a beautiful, luscious
massage and chill area will be resurected...with up to eight spaces
available for massage therapists! Yes, this year's TTD will be at the
enormous Grace Pavilion in Santa Rosa right next door to the Harmony
Festival, and I am seeking out bodyworkers who would like to offer
their services for that night. No booth fee is neccessary, and healers
may receive a dollar a minute donation for their services.
Setup time can be as early as 6pm, and the dance ends at 2:30am. And
believe me, folks, people are usually waiting on line to be massaged by

Hey there, I need a few massage therapists who would like to help Curtis in the treatment of his throat cancer. You will split the $1 per minute charge so a 10 minute massage means $5 for you and $5 for Curtis, unless you want to donate everything but I won't pressure you about it. You can use my table and/or chair which I will bring along with some sheets and towels, you should bring your preferred lotion.
Burning Solstinox: Connections –March 5, 2005 8PM-4AM @ SOMArts, 934 Brannan St in SF
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Once a year, on the midpoint between burns when we are farthest in time from any, we come together to celebrate Burning Solstinox - a holiday of hope, rebirth, love and the creative thrill of radical participation, when we experience playa joys in default. This year ’s theme is “Connections ”, and we invite you to create some by making magic with us in an amazing space. Don ’t miss this one; we ’ll be halfway home!

We do this all volunteer, totally non-commercial, and following the 10 Burning Man principles, so radically include yourself and participate. Help create an outrageous evening in a burning village that will keep that rocking playa vibe alive for another six months - there ’s no better way to switch your psyche from its vault of dusty memories to new visions of chaos.

This year ’s event is a FUNraiser benefit for Friends of Curtis, and we ’ve lined up the area ’s best DJ ’s, dazzling lighting, insane lasers, eye-popping visuals, blacklit bars, super cozy chill spaces, and lots of special playa style amusements sure to please all your senses. Plus, a raffle & silent auction for one-of-a-kind burner gifts and experiences, and even free coffee when it ’s time to go! Every bit of it gifted. All proceeds go directly to saving this burning musician ’s life and voice from cancer.

$16.93 presale, $20 at the door. There ’s no ATM; bring extra cash for amusements, bar & raffle.

For advance tix and info, visit www.friendsofcurtis.com/solstinox.

Because some nights are so special they only come once a year …
