Hi, I have always brought my actual massage table to events for massage, but one broke last year, and I am planning on trippling my days at festivals this summer.
I want something that is easy to carry, durable, and that I don't have to care about.
I was thinking about playa furniture. Has anyone made a table this way . .. and did you trust it? I would want to be able to use an actual headrest. So a 2x4 screwed to one end makes sense, then just some cushions.
Right now I have tried a dozen spellings and combinations, and can't even find plans for a couch online.
Thanks

Re: tables for festival massage (Playa furniture?) Any suggestions?
Wed, June 18, 2008 - 6:30 AMOk, I have finally found the site. So for the cost of 2 sheets of plywood you can have your own massage table. I don't know what I'll do about cushions yet. I may not make it a permanent top, but rather use lawn chair cushions they are $20 at the store... and made for the outdoors.
Or just some roll up pad.
